I think you need to spend some time shadowing and seeing what OT’s do.
For me, my daughter has benefited from OT, so it’s been a journey to see my high functioning daughter change along the way. I’d like to help other kids who have unique abilities succeed in life too.
OT is a great field for so many reasons. It's actually named a top five best career in many different articles. I feel like I enjoy the fact that there is much creativity that is required in OT. I also enjoy being able to help others progress and the pay is pretty well too if you pick the right setting and state. Many OT's definitely can make 6 figures.
