This really varies on what IM program. Each program is different in terms of call schedule, etc. Call schedule alone makes a huge difference. This is too broad of a question to answer here, but start with scutwork.com. If you have any specific questions on specific programs, this would be a better place for that..

Agreed. Also look at region specific discussions to see how people compare programs. There is currently a California thread that is active a few threads below this one (unless you keep bumping this thread every hour and it stays right on top everytime 😉 - sorry). That should give you an idea
