I'm sorry--I thought you had a full ride to Chicago? I thought I saw that on your old MDapps? Surely cost of living with rent isn't that high?

I invest a lot and help my parents with our corporate management thus they will pay for everything.

Cost of living is indeed that high if you take out maximum loans. They budget $25-$30k per year. Of course you don't have to use all of it but I do.

I plan to become a millionaire after I start my own clinic.


Here's the plan guys!:
1) Get crap loads of loans
2) Graduate med school, residency, and then start my own pain clinic.
3) Sex up a pharmacist who has her own mom & pop pharmacy.
4) Charge patients $200 a visit, and $300 under the table for an Oxycodone 30mg, Xanax 2mg, and Soma 350mg (this is the most famous drug cocktail).
5) Have the girl i sexed up fill these prescriptions for an extra $300 under the table. (YES, they WILL pay that much for their scripts to be filled. Each 180 quantity of oxycodone 30mg sells for $5k+ in the streets)
6) $600x10 patients a day is $6,000 a day. I work 5x a week, that's $30,000 a week. Which is $120,000 a month. So I will be dept free in one month. After that, I will do this plan for 10x more months so I become a millionaire.
7) Use the million dollars to buy a lot of AK-47's, M16's, SV98's, and hand grenades. I will have a mini-submarine which I rented for personal use, waiting for my by the docks, so I may go underwater where no one will find me. Which i then will transport myself into a tunnel that will lead me to a different area of the city, while an ascape goat is left in the submarine.

8) The amount we will steal will be more then $500+ million dollars. When we arrive at our final destination, we will have a infrared signal that blocks all communications of any wifi/wireless connections (for the microchips that are placed inside random stacks of 100's when it's in a bank).
9) Buy my own island with a foreign bank account after I shoot the pharmacist which i sexed up to help with my plan (I'm an only child, so i never learned to share).

I will likely be over 300K even though my undergrad debt is ~12k (for post-bac classes, had scholarship for my degree). I am looking at the full COA plus increasing it for childcare expenses, combined with Wayne's >30k per year in-state tuition and interest, I would be surprised if I wasn't over 300k by graduation.

Though I agree that the entertainment business is a goldmine, I don't believe that this plan will work. The main reason why is because there is far too many competition out there. You may want to think of something else if you want to go into the entertainment industry as a doctor. But then again, if it's on Opera a crap load of people will buy into your products lol.

Hmm, you could possibly become a gynecologist who has a secret camera on his glasses. Would be pretty easy since starting up a website is literally less then $100 and you'll be literally the only one in the market to doing this. Not to mention there's no expenses involved, AND you'll be doing a legit practice in the same time. The girls will be paying YOU, not the other way around. You will start a website, and have subscriptions out for people to buy (Make sure you set up the website so they CANNOT download videos. Those damn pirates!).

For everyone scared about the $100-300k in debt you'll be in from medical school alone - I urge you to check out the Federal Direct Loans Income-Based Repayment plan for your Internship and Residency years. If you use that (and you would qualify based on your low income vs. your massive loan principal), you can live well through internship, residency, and really start annihilating your debt when you join a practice, hospital, etc.
