What it's all about (Part Deux)

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Those videos are both great. Nice to see an E-2C squad doing some fun stuff as well. 😀

I'm almost afraid to ask, but does anyone know what the co-pilot was holding up in the ziploc bags at around 3:16 in the "Pump It" video? 😕

For those who didn't like the first video, I think this video more aptly portrays what you can get in the military and not elsewhere....

Jesus, that is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. With prior Army and Air Force time I can say unequivocally that you Navy folk have way too much free time on your hands but great work🙂

If you haven't watched these in a while and are feeling too serious, just take alittle breather.

This is a no apologies pad post.... +pad+ 👍

I'm a prior blackshoe (the "serious side of the Navy" aka a surface warfare officer - always said with a dour expression), and even *I* can appreciate this.....

Apologies in advance, but for those who have enjoyed the music videos (and for those who have yet to), it looks like there are three new ones up!

... Apparently even the CO of CVN 76 made a showing in the "Women of CVN 76" video... And to think I missed out on these for a full 8 days.

😍 😍 OMG!! - The RX dept scenes were TOO MUCH!!! That is awesome!!😍 😍

Nuke chics rock....

That's what the Navy is all about, maybe this is what the AF is all about:

Legend has it the guys who made this one got in trouble for it. I honor their sacrifice so that I could enjoy a good laugh.

So where are the docs in all of this, especially when people are deployed? Are they "part of the gang," or do people keep their distance outside of the clinic/office?

Up to you. On both of my deployments I partied with the crewdogs and my relationship with my guys (guys is a gender neuter term for all of you easily offended feminists out there -- and for all of you misogynistic males, the best pilot in my squadron was female) benefited immensely. This is a good thing for flight docs because aviators are notoriously afraid of the doc. Every trip to the clinic is a chance to lose your wings. If the guys trust you, that means you can take better care of them.
