So many questions. What specialty would feel the encroachment of AI the most? Which will benefit the most? Will we need clerical administrators anymore one day? Will I be out of a job because some world expert at UCSF will telemedicine my patient in Dakota?

In the short term it is highly unlikely that AI will replace any healthcare jobs. Even radiology I do not suspect to be replaced in my lifetime.

However, without specifying a time limit, the simple answer is that everything will be replaced by AI. Humans are flawed. Incredibly flawed, and AI is the solution. Not until 2100 though in my opinion.

60 Minutes had an interesting piece lately on IBM's Watson being an Oncology consultant that could rapidly find the most recent treatment venues for specific conditions, down to the genetic polymorphism of the tumor type.
