With this recent surge in "What kind of _____ are you getting" threads, I thought I'd start one asking if any of you guys are thinking about growing out that beard out before medical school starts? 😀 Ive been seriously considering this and I was wondering if there were any other guys that that wanna grow that thing out since beards are the new "in" or hipster thing to do . Oh and girls don't feel left out...I suppose you can discuss the utter disgust or love of a beard on a guy. Hahaha

I am currently growing my taliban-esque beard, or "tali-beard", for short.

I will probably go to the mustache before I start school though.

Me, I did a clean-cut interview and kept the look thru the first couple of weeks of school, but I eventually grew back the hair all over my head. I usually go hairy during the cold months, but when I heard that my rotation site wouldn't allow facial hair, I decided to get as shaggy as I could until then.

If/when the show ever starts back up, we need to have Grey's Anatomy chats.
Isn't Christina the perfect combination of intelligence, biotch, and wittyness? This strike has truly screwed the show rhythm! Usually the after-Christmas drought of shows is bearable...but this has been quite the lengthy hiatus - withdrawals is all I can type to depict the state I am in.

Man, medical tv drama shows really annoy me. I don't mean to knock off the people that watch them, but for me personally I can't get through about five min of watching before I start screaming at the TV saying this is SOOO not true, or thats so unethical, or that so wont ever happen in a million years, and how I would LOVEEE to be able to drink every night, go screw every intern in the hospital and still be on my toes to preform brain surgery the next day.🙄 (wow, that was a really long run on sentence)
Anywho, the only two medical shows I can watch are srcubs (for the comedic value) and the first couple seasons of ER.

Back in highschool, I was into being all natural and stuff.....so I grew my armpit hair too. It was really long....I never thought of growing my armpit hair and turning it into dread locks....very interesting....Very, very very interesting.

Im up for growing the chest hair out, Ellinopedo. Mine is thick as it is... Not carpet by any means like the guy in Sherruns post, but , I definitely go the chest hair. I trim it a little in the summer usually cause it gets so hot and makes me sweat more. And why are you shaving before every interview? Rock out the beard man.

Agreed, I am definately not a fan of the beard or moustache for that matter. I honestly think that most women prefer the clean shaven look.

Ive been told by a couple of girls with my stubble that they don't like kissing me cause of the stubble and how rough it is...shurg. I personally like the stubble look, but I guess some girls don't. Go figure
