What kind of degree for PT?

Hey guys , im 19, was considering PTA but now decided on doing PT, my next step is figuring out if there is a specific kind of ( bachelors ) degree that will give me leverage on getting into DPT school? I understand its competitive, but I always believe in working smarter vs harder many times. So there must be some kind of route to go higher than others thru a bachelors to get to DPT school. Insight needed, thanks!

I recommend biology, pre-med, or any other health science. However, as long as you complete your pre-reqs and get good grades, it doesn't really matter.
