OK folks... it's nearly New Year... a time when our meagre minds turn to the year just gone and fantasising about the 12 months to come (after strong coffee, a fizzling Berocca B complex and at least a 3pm start to the new day with the little birdies singing 'Chirp Bloody Chirp'), soooo I got to thinking...

Which medico, from literature/popular culture - ancient and modern - do you most identify with? (eg. Perry or Elliott from Scrubs, the surgeon from Master and Commander, Bones or Crusher from Star Trek, etc.) And why?
