Right now I'm doing a combined B.S./M.S. at UCSD in an ecology evolutionary bio lab but the thing is the whole thing is mostly lab work with only 3 graduate classes... so I told my PI i was leaving after my first quarter here (dont with my BS... didnt really think it thru thoroughly before i applied for MS also the lab work is not molecular its a lot of behavior ecology stuff which I have no interest in), my science GPA is low... my MED school PRE-REQ gpa is OK, but in themiddle to end of college I got sick and had some psychological problems because of it and I kinda just signed up for a bunch of hard bio classes without really thinking and hurt my GPA... after i got thru it, it settled how badly i hurt my GPA and I kinda lost all hope and stopped trying

My science GPA is a 3.07 right now, but my pre-req GPA is about 3.45... thx to hard upperdiv science classes that I didnt take seriously. Anyways it's early March and I want to apply to post-bacc for next year, take extension classes next quarter and during the summer and apply next year as well.

What is the best type of program for me...? I understand a lot of programs are for non-science majors who need to complete their pre-reqs and I have taken nearly all the science classes offered at my school...

What is your cumulative GPA? You should probably take the MCAT and see how you do before you decide whether a SMP is the right degree for you. If your cumulative GPA is over 3.3, it might not be, if it's between 3.0 and 3.3, it might be the best path.
