what makes creighton unique?

Their website really isnt that helpful and you would think they would wanna give applicants a headsup on why they should choose Creighton. Can anyone help me?

I talked about the parts of the curriculum that interested me as well as the hospitals in the area that the school is affiliated with. I would talk about the Jesuit tradition as I did not and many people insisted that I should have. It is something to consider, as well as the location in Omaha. These are things that you should consider when talking about any school, mentioning matchlists is not as important as the individuals are a factor and this lessens talking about the school. However, I think letting them know that you've heard wonderful things from current students or alumni would be a plus especially if you can back it up.

yes it is in omaha.

but you can PM Jet915, a big recruiter for Creighton and he will have many reasons in why they are unique.

Always win or in the running for the school with the best record of community service.
An entertaining basketball team.
Allows students a big voice in addressing their needs.
If interested in being a part of the admissions process, you can be interviewer starting from your 2nd year. (contingent on being a host your 1st year)
Many others I'm sure Creighton students can let you know about...

i always take these "why go to this school" prompts and use them to sell the school AND myself.

i liked how they listed disease prevention as one of their goals (most schools don't even talk about prevention...why is that?) and then wrote about a prevention project that i did and how the school would help me in that arena.

i empathize with you...was so uninspired to do this one, not sure why. i really hate the "why go here" prompts. finally sent it away yesterday.
