What NBME is the one you take after M2?

My school makes us take an "NBME Comprehensive Basic Sciences Examination" after our final exam of M2, pre-Step 1 studying.

Before I purchase more NBMEs, does anyone have any idea of which one this correlates too?

Also, I scored a 225 on this one. How reasonable is a 240+ goal for me? I know it all depends on my effort, but I need to set goals for myself to do well, but don't want to set my sights too high.

I'm thinking I want to aim for a 240 and would be ecstatic with a 250. Is this reasonable?

Thanks!

I hit 190 in January, 215 on the CBSE in March, and now I'm hitting 240s on practice NBMEs in May with Step in June. It's highly possible. Keep in mind we still had coursework in March and April, so I wasn't able to really focus until after classes ended. I saw a huge jump in my scores after I got through Pathoma and some reinforcement of Pharm.

Edit: CBSEs are different than practice NBMEs if that was what you were asking.

How do you obtain the practice NBME's? I can only seem to find where to purchase the CBSE's...

They're called CBSSA from the NBME Self-assessment services website. I don't think students can purchase CBSEs since they're usually administered by the school, but I could be wrong. The CBSSAs are the ones with forms 7, 11, 12, etc.

OK then, I go to a DO school and they didn't make us take CBSE's so I thought perhaps CBSSA and CBSE were different ways of saying the same thing.

I do know where to find the CBSSA's

Thanks
