I have already submitted my AMCAS. Don't get my scores back until next week. I was just wondering what I should start working on now? secondaries? if so, how can I start working on them before I have even received them?

Also, how do you know which schools send out secondaries to everyone and which schools don't send it out to everyone?

check out the school-specific forum. you can look up prompts for all the secondaries as they come out, even if you haven't received them yet. that way you can start drafting early on.

you may start getting secondaries before your AMCAS is verified anyway, btw.

as far as which schools screen... there aren't so many. i'd recommend reading the school-specific threads to find out.

A lot of the school's essays are very similiar. Definitely start working on them from SDN's essay prompts so your turn-around time when you get a formal invitation to submit a secondary is just a few days.

Pray for a good score... That's what I have been doing haha, getting my score back in 2 weeks

Otherwise, with a crappy score (maybe low 20's), no secondaries matter
