i just took my dat's today and feel like i did a pretty solid job overall...i was wondering where i could get general info on the app cycles and what the next steps are. thanks. if anyone can link me to one it would be great.
Which cycle do you want to apply for? Do you have an application on ADEA? If you dont,: https://portal.aadsasweb.org/applicants10/newAccount.cgi Even if your not gonna apply this cycle, open one and play around with it. You can alsoSo you get used to it. Keep shadowing & keep you grades up. Good Luck!

Whoa... Lets not get ahead of ourselves. With that GPA and DAT score I think you sit well. Call the schools and ask about the RC, screw the QR. Some schools like a minimum for RC (usually an 18). I would wait till next cycle cause it is late though and you don't want to have to redo LOR's and personal statement if you don't get in. I really wouldn't retake the DAT though. I don't know if you could do better on the TS, plus I've only heard the 2nd one is harder (from 3 people I know).
don't retake not needed unless you want to go for Harvard or Indiana (RC cutoff) and other schools with cutoffs. Your scores are fine plus you have a great gpa. Work on those EC's and apply next cycle!👍
thanks guys...for extra cirriculars i have worked in a medical research institute for 2 years, shadowed for only 100 hrs, and various clubs....the thing i dont have is volunteering and i hear this is very important so i might volunteer or is community service a better option?

do whatever suits you. i did volunteer community service with outdoor organizations because i'm an outdoor sports enthusiest. they want to see you do stuff you're passionate about, and with consistancy over a period of time. quality over quantity.
