Since you are going to KCUMB I can give you a little bit of advice. The first section is called "Foundations of Medicine" and it is a review from biochem, physio, immuno, path, pharm, etc. There is no anatomy during this 6 week section, but Musculo-Skeletal is the next section after FOM. I would suggest reading up on any general area in which you may feel weak. Sure, you'll pass the limits of what you previously knew pretty quick, but having a stronger foundation to build from is never a bad thing.
For me, I was lacking a bit in immunology, so this is what I read. I think it was worth it when those lectures came around. Another suggestion might be to brush up on microbiology. They drop a micro-bomb about 3 weeks into the course and you have to memorize a ton of bacteria, viruses and fungi. In the end, if you're not burned out on getting this far, then sure, maybe read some more. If you are burned out, then rest up, because you have plently of time to become burned out in the next few years...
