So..I am only a freshamn right now, but ya gotta think ahead right? Does it matter what classes I have completed by the end of my junior year? or just that I am going to take them my senior year?

Most schools will allow you to take pre-requisites during your senior spring semester. (There are a couple that do not, so please double check with those schools!) In general, people will have a couple of pre-reqs in the final spring semester (I'm taking two currently) - this usually means that your acceptance is contingent on you passing those classes. I wouldn't leave all that many for that last semester, though.

I know that iowa and a few other schools require you to be taking no more than 2 prereqs in your spring quarter of your year before matriculation. Also don't know if your a CA resident but Davis requires you to have a college degree before attending. I would suggest that you try to get a majority of your prereqs done before your final year. Make sure to have your ochem completed because it is a big way ad coms judge your ability to handle difficult classes and problem solving abilities. Just some stuff to think about.

It would be in your best interest to try and get all of your pre reqs done prior to senior year, or at least spring semester of senior year. There may be a class or two that you're unable to get into until then, but if you wait it could really cause problems due to time scheduling and class conflicts, and also some classes are only available in either fall or spring semesters. If you plan now, you won't have to be stressed out taking a bunch of hard classes in one or 2 semesters after each other.
