hey, so I asked my premed advisor if psych and physio classes count and she replied with "not usually". so if they do count what classes should I take for them to count? and would it be bad if I take them online?
thanks!

For AMCAS, if the course content is > 50% hard science, you would be justified in categorizing it as BCPM. Most psychology taken by premeds doesn't count. Most physiology classes do. Whatever you claim, be sure the course catalog backs you up.

Don't take prerequisites on-line. Check the MSAR to see if your target schools accept any on-line coursework.

is physiology in your biology department? if it is then it definitely does. if it's in its own "physio" department then I would ask your school/premed advisor what they think but I would assume it would count.

for psychology it depends; if it is considered a "NEURO" class then it MIGHT. I think I have heard of people including neuroscience classes in their science/math GPA

if it's in the psych department, it would likely just be considered a social science and not included

best of luck
