Hi,

I am a third year and I was wondering what people have bought for their Itouch/Iphone? I downloaded the free trial version of epocrates and lexicomp. I like lexicomp better than epocrates but it is really expensive for one year only. So I have been looking at buying from Skyscape Merck manual of diagnosis and Stedman's medical dictionary. Some people have told me to also buy the Washington manual. Any other ressources that I must have? Can anybody guide me in the right direction?

Thanks a lot,

Le fou

I saw a discount offer for lexicomp a while back. If I find it again, ill send it ur way.

It's called the "iPod Touch", not the "iTouch". 😀

The most essential app on the wards is ePocrates, and maybe a free medical calculator. I wouldn't waste money with premium ePocrates unless you got a free subscription. If you can get access to UpToDate, that's great too.

The other things I would recommend are the Sanford Guide and the Washington Manual. I prefer the actual books over an electronic version, as they are both pretty easy to carry in a lab coat.
