Take out Howard and Meharry unless you are URM.

I don't think UK is OOS friendly.

Also, you said you've been out of school for eight years. How long has it been since you finished your prereqs?

ECU doesn’t accept any out of state students. If you’re a Texas resident and have no way to claim NC residency (they have you fill out a residency form and submit the verification of NC residency in the supplemental), don’t apply.

VCU and MICH are kind of reaches OOS, take out NYU because of the price tag

I took all my Prereqs during my undergraduate. Due to family situation and life, I could not apply until now.

I have More than 2000 hours of volunteering in medically undeserved communities. Also I have more than 400 hours of shadowing and volunteering in the Dental field. I am also Register dental assistant. I heard VCU look for students with many volunteering hours

Have you refreshed your pre-reqs since undergrad? Some/most schools require the pre-reqs be completed within the past 5 years.

no i just took Molecular Biology and Biochemistry I, II as post baccalaureate and got A's In all three. I took the DAT in March I had to just do little review. If I Retake all pre reqs it will be wast of time and money

As Zburk said, some schools will not accept your prereqs if they are too old. I would do a research to check which of the schools on your list will take 8-year old prereqs. Emailing them is the best way to do it.

This is worthwhile, but I didn't have to retake English or math prereqs from undergrad ~7 years prior at any of my schools, so OP might be okay.

It's also possible that schools are more lenient with English/math pre-reqs than the sciences. Best to contact the schools and check rather than risk wasting money applying.

all the TX schools said it is ok during there open house. The only thing they don't want is LOR from 8 years ago. They said to take some upper level classes to show you still can handle the work. So I already took some 4000 level courses and might take two more (Histology and pathology).
