Hey guys,

I wanna know which schools accept transfer students.

Is there a list of schools that do that?

there are no schools that accept transfers. if you are having trouble at a school and fail out, no other ds will accept a dropout/failure. alternatively, if you just want to re-locate, you'd probably have to apply all over again and re-start ds. if you could get an interview, you'd be bombarded with questions about you couldn't finished it out at the first school. yeah, there's really no good outcome from trying to switch schools. bottom-line, pick your school wisely, at the beginning!🙂

No schools? I don't believe that is accurate. I think that Minnesota and Columbia may accept transfers, but I'm not sure.

Most, if not all, schools will consider a transfer student, assuming there's a seat in the class. You'd have to have a darn good reason as to why they would want to accept you after you bailed out on the last dental school. Also, be prepared to have to repeat a year of school if they accept you.

Let's say that I was accepted to dental school this year, but my spouse is accepted to residency in a different state, halfway across the country. Would transferring to be closer to your significant other be a good enough reason? I mean, that's being apart for 4 years.

I do know for sure that Loma Linda will NOT accept any transfer applicants.

My friend is currently a first-year dental student at another dental school and applied as a transfer applicant to LLU.

They rejected him simply because it's considered "stealing" a student from another dental program.
