Ok...I submitted my application and applied to nine schools. (Temple, Pitt, NYU, UMDNJ, Maryland, VCU, Nova, Midwestern and Tufts) However, I am now thinking I should apply to more. My cum GPA is 3.45 and my sciGPA is 3.4. I have not taken my DAT's yet, but plan on taking them in August. I am in a post bac program taking Organic Chem and Bio now. Also, I have been working as a dental hygienist for the past 3 years. What do you guys think? What schools should I add?

maybe some westcoast schools.

UoP, USC, Arizona, UNLV

Can you add schools after you submit the application??

Your gpa and extracurricular activities seem to be pretty good to me. How you perform on your DAT will be a very big factor as well. Do well on your DAT and continue to apply early and I think you should have no problems. Good Luck

Designating schools is one of the few parts of the application that you can update after it has been submitted.

I submitted my application, all of my transcipts have been received and I am waiting for my official GPA to be calculated. When you say continue to apply early, what else do I have to do?

I dunno, as long as you do well on the DAT, I bet you will get interviews at at least a few of your schools.

If you really want to add more - where would you want to live? Look at the schools there.

you are applying to basically the exact same schools as me, except i am not applying to midwestern, if you apply there, maybe consider the other Arizona d-school. also, yes you can add other d-schools after you submit. good luck. 🙂

when you add more schools do you have to pay anything more than you would if you initially had them on your list? does adding more bump back the rest of your application to the bottom of the pile of apps being processed? or will just the new schools you add be on the new counter of 2 mo. of being processed and your old originial schools still get your app according to when you initially submitted your apps?

I agree if you get a 20 on your DAT, you will likely get interviews at at LEAST one of the schools you named. If you are looking for more though, Creighton and Case are 2 more I can think of where you would have competitive stats.

Absolutely! Click the Designations section and then click Add/Delete Schools. Then just add the schools you'd like. As long as the deadline hasn't passed, you can designate schools. Should be golden right now since the earliest date I can recall is Oklahoma which for out of state applicants is September 1.

does it cost more to add schools later then if you originally had them on your list?
