I'm putting together a list of review books for step 1, and my bible will be first aid. I dont want to spread myself thin with buying extra review books, aside from FA I will also get RR Biochem, RR Path, and BRS Phys.

Is there any sections in First Aid that is weak and could require a supplemental review text?

I'm doing the same thing. I browsed through FA and it seems like with RR path, BRS phys, and FA you've got all your bases covered, except for biochem and the general path section (i.e. inflammation, neoplasia, etc.). I'm using kaplan for biochem, but haven't figured out a good book for the others (robbins maybe?)
