So I'm finally getting a DO LOR so I'm wondering what are the things I should tell him to include? Thanks

How long s/he's known you
In what context
his/her assessment of your ability to be a good medical student
his/her assessment of your ability to be a good osteopathic doctor
his/her assessment of your knowledge of osteopathy
his/her assessment of your character

Concur with the previous post as well.

Thanks for the input..honestly I only shadowed the physician for one day. I spent the last five months trying to find a DO to shadow and finally got a physician who would allow me to shadow him for one day. I am only using the DO LOR to fulfill LECOM's requirement. He asked me to tell him what to write so I guess I'll make sure he includes my knowledge of osteopathy and the assessment of my character.
