what should i be doing freshman year?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Basically, just do whatever interests you. If you really want, you can find a volunteering position at some hospital, set up shadowing over your breaks, or whatever. Just make sure you've cured AIDS by May.

Make sure you know how to study, keep your grades up, form relationships with your profs, make friends

Experience life and learn about yourself (most important)

If you have to ask, you are already behind. I think you should consider the Caribbean.

try out and make the football team, get really good and break your foot senior year so they redshirt you, but you graduate on schedule so the football team helps you get into med school. It's foolproof... unless you go to UNC, the NCAA is really getting after them ab academics right now

not getting worried about medical school...that comes when you're a junior.

rock those grades, get to know profs, volunteer, and do whatever the heck you want.
