I go to small, private, Christian college in southern California and there aren't too many ECs available at school (especially for science majors) So i was wondering what suggestions anyone has on outside ECs. I'm in my first semester sophmore year. I am already currently participating in the CCE program, SAINTS (science club) and missions. I know this is not nearly enough, so please through out any ideas and suggestions🙂 😍

What J DUB says. You can volunteer your time anywhere, as long as you care at least a little bit about what you're doing and can talk about it during an admissions interview. As far as clinical experience, find a Doc to shadow - hospitals, urgent care centers, walk-in clinics, etc.

If you wanna do research, go find a job at one of the big institutions in the area.

there has to be a hospital or clinic somewhere nearby...go there and see if you can get a volunteer position with patient contact experience.....also, look around for docs to shadow. Try maybe tutoring at the school....

The CCE program is direct hands-on patient care. I think the OP is looking beyond hospital volunteering? If so then I say have a try at research! Even if you attend a small institution there should be professors conducting research.
