I have not e-submitted my app yet because my DAT is in august?
I am afraid if I do bad than all the money I have spend on app will go to waste.
What should I do???
Should I e-submit because otherwise I will be very late in the cycle???

My opinion is that you should be studying hard enough for the DAT that you know you are going to do well. The question then remains, how well are you going to do?

If you plan on taking the DAT then get it done right the first time. If you are studying like you want to get it done the first time then I would go ahead and e-submit your app.

If you are using your first DAT as a "practice" or just seeing how it is (worst thing you could possibly do) then I would not e-submit 👍

Well, I am studying like this is first and last time I will ever take the DAT but you never know.

If you have a decent overall and science GPA, and you do well on your DAT the first time.
You shouldn't have problems landing some interviews.
However, do apply to many outstate friendly schools though...

I finished my DAT on late July and got my application submitted on Aug. 30th

Relax. You have to realize that most of the people here are type A overachievers or have nothing better to do than to mess with people's minds. Some people here like to freak others out. Yes, you are later in the cycle than you would like, but you are not very late in the cycle. My application was sent to schools in mid-Sept. I had all my interviews by mid-Nov and received all the acceptance letters/e-mails on or around Dec 1st. As long as you are competative, you are fine. Otherwise, you may have to wait a little while for an interview and subsequent acceptance.

Right now, just relax and prepare for the DAT efficiently. You'll do fine.

Thanks a lot for sharing when you both applied and got accepted. Now, I can concentrate on DAT more, than worrying about app.
