Medical What should I use for my diversity essay topic?

I was thinking about writing about my experience growing up in another country without my parents, then moving to the United States in my teens and establishing a strong relationship with my parents. It has taught me the value people have in your life even you may not be in direct contact with them.

Any advice on whether this would be an acceptable topic?

Okay, but I would want more details about what you learned about being in that country and about the people there. What was it about the way children and parents interacted that was different from the way you have normally been accustomed to it? How did that culture make you feel included or excluded?
