I would say the blazer dress pants combination is more professional. There are a lot of helpful links if you search for medical school attire on google.
I wore a nice dress, a blazer, and flats. It seemed appropriate! There were other girls at my interview also wearing pants/blazers and dresses so I bet either is fine, just so long as it's polished.
