So I have spoken to both offices that I shadowed for. I volunteered at one office for 3 months and the other for a month. I feel that they got to know me pretty well and would have many positive things to mention. Each are alum at schools I want to apply to. They are prepared to write a LOR, is there anything specific I should ask them to include that would really stand out? Any input would be great from current applicants and accepted students!

Adjectives adjectives adjectives.

My dentist wrote me a rec. letter. Last sentence "I will be proud to call her colleague." Kinda nice. I'm still new to it all.

Anything besides academia. If they mention academics it should extremely brief. They need to focus on your personality and what kind of impact you have left at your school.
