I have 3.95 cgpa from community college and 3.88 cgpa from university (UCLA). In this case, should I consider my gpa as 3.88 or 3.915(averaged gpa from CC and uni)?? Wondering because I heard that dental schools weigh uni gpa more heavily. And I think a gpa above 3.9 would make me more competitive to get into the top schools..so I’m hoping AADSAS calculated gpa to be over 3.9 so I can be more competitve

dontworryaboutit

Honestly, I think anything above a 3.8 is irrelevant. But, they averaged my CC and university gpa's on a per unit basis. Assuming they converted the quarter units to semester units and then calculated the total from there. Youre probably gonna have around the 3.92, but like I said I don't think it matters.

Lol doesn’t matter which gpa is used. You’re in the top percent. Don’t worry about it.
