I actually wondered how long it would take this to come up. Then I thought, nah, this is just a fun website post.
Oh how wrong I was.
Wait....so medical school is only for MDs? or is it for MDs/DOs? Which physicians go to "medical school"? Of the people who are allowed to do surgery, diagnose, and treat patients without supervision, which go to "medical school"? Dentists? Oral surgeons? Ophthalmologists?
I looked up DMU on wikipedia, and it's considered a "medical school" on there...is that fair, since we have DOs and not MDs? Am i allowed to say I go to "medical school", since I sit in with the majority of the DO classes?
Well now I just feel defeated :-(
