I think it's hilarious that all these threads are popping up with questions--essentially verbatim--from the Duke secondary. I don't mean to be condescending at all; I, too, tackled that beast after much head-scratching. Just an observation!

Having said that, I'd encourage folks to do a bit more independent research and self-reflection. Your essays will be that much stronger if they're made from scratch.

Seriously, let's all just write everyone else's secondary question on SDN whenever they ask us to.

Come on now... think through these questions yourselves. That's what they're there for. The admissions committee is interested in what YOU think, not what everyone else thinks. Put a little effort into this.
