So I know this greatly varies, but as far as graded work is it based on clinicals, or reports or what?

I'm not very far into pre med, but I'd like to know what to expect now, so I can get an idea of what sort of experience it will be.

Tests, just like in college.

For MSI and MSII: Test (bigest part of the grade), quizzes, small group discussion (you get graded on participation, showing that you came prepared to discuss the material, sometimes there are quizzes afterwards), case presentations (Knowing how to use Power Point is very useful for these), attendance.

how many pages of notes would say is on an average exam for like biochem, anatomy, neuroscience, histo, physiology, etc? How often are your exams.... so 100 pages/week, 200 pages/3 weeks, etc?

Exams are every other week in MSII. We have 3-4 conferences/day with each conference having anywhere from 30-100 slides. So around 1,000 slides/exam. This includes material from path, pathophysio, pharm, and micro.

All multiple choice and matching exams.

Most likely I will never take a non-multiple choice written exam for the rest of my life.

Tests, which are about the volume of a midterm or final in undergrad.

well i am all for the multiple choice exams. i've been taking all advanced chem and adv bio classes the last couple semesters and they have all been essay, due to the small class size. I always feel like I have to study so much more for the essay classes... it's a drag.
