First of all, just check out the posts about their interviews. I haven't checked all of the interview feedbacks but of the ones that I have checked, CU has to be one of the worst ranked. Secondly, being married to an alumnus of a CUSoP and having spent plenty of time on campus and at various functions ect., I have plenty of stories I could tell about how CU, and especially the SoP, just does not handle things well. O.K., here's one, my spouse has done her two years of pre-pharm work at CU and applies to the SoP at CU but CU is starting a new clinical pharmacy program that they need students for, so despite having a very good gpa and doing all the right things, my spouse is denied entrance into the SoP and basically "forced" into their new program. My spouse ends up wasting a year of her life and tuition in this new program and is only admitted to the CUSoP when she is accepted to Shenandoah and "threatens" to go there. Email me if you would like some more examples.
Even after seven years of numerous events like this, I applied to CUSoP because it was my spouse's alma mater and I looked at it basically as a back up. Today I got the rejection letter. It stated that I had been rejected because I hadn't sent in all of my required paperwork, however, I did and on PharmCAS it shows that they received it all. It also suggests that I work on my interpersonal and interview skills, but they have never spoken to me. This is really just typical for Campbell.
Unless you have no other choice, or if you enjoy a fairly strict religious atmosphere, I would stay away from there.
Just my one-cent worth.
