WHAT THE ****

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
There are no set dates for DAT. It's available almost everyday and you just pick a date and time that suits your schedule.

Ok, thanks for telling me.

Is it true that the results are available instantly after you finish the test? (unlike the MCAT...)

If memory serves me correctly, there is a short survey after you complete the last question and then your scores are revealed on the screen prior to leaving the testing room.
Then the Prometric staff prints it out, stamps it and you are good to go.

The MCAT took ****ing 35 days...like does it really take that long to grade a multiple choice test? No. No it doesn't.

Well, you get your score right away, but it takes 2-4 weeks to "verify" your score wasn't reported incorrectly and to send it to AADSAS. Don't worry though, I've never heard that happen.

The title sounds so dramatic (and of course being nosey, I had to click and read the content). Glad you found the answer and good luck on the DAT!

Sorry for the title - I just get pissed when simple information is not presented clearly.

It's cool. I understand your frustration. I got confused when signing up for the DAT, too. The website is confusing.

Just to qualify---it's available every day that the testing center isn't already booked for other testers. It's not likely that if you signed up today that there would be a spot on Tuesday, for example, and it takes a couple days to get your information to actually sign up for the test so plan ahead and sign up early.
