I recently came across the entire chemistry and biology sets.. has anyone ever used these in their DAT prep?

I watched 10 seconds of it, felt like I'm being taught in a 2nd grade classroom.

Sadly, I must admit that I highly enjoyed watching/learning biology from this guy.


The one flaw is that the topics covered are not comprehensive for the DAT, for example, there was no Taxonomy included in the lectures. But biology is really broad anyways, and no one source will provide it all.

Just when I though I had enough resources, this Thinkwell video shows up to consume more of my money.

I am about to buy Thinkwell Bio but I am don't know what to do? Are they really good?

those videos are priceless. it is exactly the level of biology that you need to know- looks like 2nd grade, but anything more is probably a waste of time (im speaking out of experience of having taken the dat). check out some of the breakdowns of the kids who absolutely destroyed the dat like Rlow04.


i thought the guy was extremely annoying, but the videos are worth the investment. They also break up the monotonous practice of reading dense biology study guides.

I watched a lot of these videos, and feel like they really helped me.

If I had the time, I would have gone through a lot of them, but I only found them a couple of weeks before my DAT.

I watched most of the BIO ones.. they were good. The gen chem ones were useless

I watched about 40 hours worth before I took the DAT. Especially Taxonomy and Plant biology.

Got a 24 in Bio.
