What time do interviews start rolling in?

It depends to some degree on the strength of your application.

So they wouldn't start reviewing based on time of completion but instead by strength of app?

I think he's saying that they'll start going through them as they come in basically. And if you have a not so great app, your chances of getting put in the interview pile are better if they haven't seen all the applicants after you with even stronger apps.

Yep, you can count on waiting til at least August. If you want a decent idea of when schools start interviewing, search MDApps for profiles with high numbers in the last couple cycles and browse a few of them.

It seems many interview during September.

also LizzyM was saying something like schools that are all electronic can basically cherry pick the high stat people so even if someone who has a 4.0 and 36 mcat applied in july or something, they still might get picked out quick compared to the guy who has a 3.6 and 30 mcat.

I started getting them late july and received my last invite in february?? Most probably invited me in august-september

I think UCSD was first to start interviewing in mid-late August. U Mich interviewed early as well. UCLA started Mid Sept despite their claim of starting in October. I think I got about half my invites in Sept-Oct, and half Jan-Feb.

As far as actually interviewing. My first was the very beginning of Sept and my last was in March
