What to ask at the interview???

So Im going to NYU for my interview in a few weeks and I have been thinking about good questions to ask them while there. Im not sure if I will have any but I know asking a good question can be very impressive. What do you guys think?

the best questions will probably be those that are tailored to that particular school. maybe ask about the boards? ask about research at that school, or the interviewer's research? i've also asked, "What new advances do you anticipate in dentistry over the next 5 years?" "What about my interview/application can i improve on, in your opinion?"
i like that last one because it gives them a chance to give you feedback so you can better tell how you did, as well as helping you do better in future interviews. good luck.

Just ask them what your chances of getting ortho are if you go to their school... 😛

I really dont think should ask about what you can improve upon during your interview. You want the interviewer to focus on your strengths not your weaknesses. You don't want him or her going back through your file looking for stuff they may have overlooked. If anything, this is a question you ask after and if you get a rejection letter.

that's one way of looking at it. another portrays you as one who is interested in the interview process and wants to do the absolute best he/she can. for me, it gave me the opportunity to get feedback, which helped me to do better in other interviews, (i don't think you'd get much interview feedback if you called post-rejection and asked how you could improve your interview)😉.
i should have prefaced this by saying that i only ask this if i'm unsure how the interview is going. also, it is all in how you say it and how you present yourself. if you are extremely nervous and self-conscious, probably not the best question to ask because you will draw attention to your self consciousness.

as far as not drawing attention to something they may have missed, come on, do you think your file will not be reviewed again before they accept you?

but, to each his own. i did not mean to imply that THIS IS A QUESTION YOU MUST ASK, just offered an example from my own experience.
