Lol yes. I would think it would ruin your whole outfit. Bring a portfolio. Be professional.

If you bring your backpack to interviews, I would imagine that you'd want to leave that in the admissions office while you are interviewing and doing the tours. Check with the school in advance to see if they can accomodate any luggage stuff, since they understand that it's usually inconvenient to run back to your hotel after your interview, especially if you have a flight to catch. I remember seeing a lot of ppl do this last year.

It's not absolutely necessary to bring things else to interviews, but some schools do ask you to bring a passport style photo so don't forget that.
