What to bring to DAT

I've heard that you can't bring your own pens/pencils.. is that true? If so, do they provide you with wood pencils or can you get a decent pen or mechanical pencil? Sounds stupid, but I really hate wood pencils. lol 😀

i got 2 wood pencils - they were sharpened but erasers sucked, i got a booklet of scrap paper - enough not to have to use my eraser.

everything i had brought i had to put in a locker and only thing i brought into the test with me was my 2 forms of ID and my locker key.

yea the pencils are wood... the thing is that they want to have the same exact testing conditions for every test taker around the country..so the scores can be more reliable.

don't you hate those plastic-ish erasers that don't actually erase? all they do is smudge up your work so you can't read anything. 😳

You can't bring anything into the room with you except your paper and pencils (which they provide you).
