What to do during gap year?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
See if you can find a job consulting or something where you can work remotely. When you can work anywhere, it doesn't matter if you have to travel for interviews (just have to take off the day of your interview). That's what I've been doing... gotta stack that cash before med school.

Regardless, it's always good to spend some time getting involved with volunteering whether you get a job or not!

Are you really sure you want to quit? You might want to renegotiate with your boss. Investigate an alternative date for your ii, see if you can work extra hours to put in for an absence, or work for less pay. Try to find ways to make your boss pleased with your work rather than annoyed you're leaving so often. Finding a good job isn't so easy.

Can the mods please make a sticky on this topic. There's a freaking post about it every damn day.

It doesn't matter. There needs to be a sticky because this stuff gets asked all the time. 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, it's all the same.
