I am taking VITA this weekend and I am a little worried about "past behavior" type of questions. What should we do if we can't think of any anecdote to answer "describe a time you...." type of questions?
I saw a question in my practice that asked me to describe a time I used a creative method to solve a tough problem and my head was just frozen.
From what I have heard, the VITA questions can be very specific and may even ask us to describe a situation where not many people have experienced.

Practice . . . Practice . . . Practice . . . You may not practice all scenarios, but you can certainly practice the common scenarios and maybe even some of the less common ones. Realize, too, that your interviewers are not looking for amazing anecdotes, they are trying to determine whether you will be an excellent medical student and doctor. So, questions like this one are intended to show that you have what it takes to be a doctor (i.e., you don’t fold under pressure, you can handle failure, etc.). Take a moment to think of something, keep your cool, and run with it. You got this.

Does anyone have a good example of what to use for biggest regret? Is it bad to go person? better to stick with a professional example?
