So I'm graduating this spring with my undergrad in biology. I have an average gpa and DAT score, but the rest of my application is great (I'm a white male, so I wont be making any class more diverse). I haven't gotten any acceptance letters yet from dental schools.
That being said I'm already starting to study for the DAT again and plan on improving for next year's cycle (just in case I don't get accepted).

If I end up having a year in between graduation and entering dental school, what have you guys done or recommend to fill up the year?

-What 12 month post-bachelor programs offered by dental schools do you know of?

You can work/shadow for a local dentist! Or do some research at your local university. The NIH has a great post-bacc training program that many students like you apply for (google NIH IRTA/CRTA). Look for a masters program if you want to bump your GPA.
