My pre-med office sent out my evaluations 15 days ago and another one of my schools already has it. The university of Virgina however, does not. I know it should be there by now. It only takes two or three days to mail something from Georgia to Virginia. Should I try to get my office to send it to them again? Or is that since my evaluations got there before I sent them my secondary maybe they threw it out? Great (sarcasm)

Tell your pre-med office that the med school says your letters are missing, and ask that they send another letter/packet of letters to the med school. E-mail the med school, saying that the original packet was mailed on X date, but as it hasn't arrived yet, you have requested that your school mail another packet on Y date.

When I applied, I had to do this 4 times (out of 16 secondaries). My pre-med office was pretty on top of things, so I think in most cases it was the med school. I know for certain that Stanford mis-filed the first packet, and unlucky for me, they get pretty pissy if you don't have your entire file completed in 10 days.

yeah its gonna cost you money, but instead of waiting for Virg to take their time trying to find it in its pile of mail, might as well just send it again just in case.
