Hi guys. I'm taking my test a week from Monday and am trying to figure out what to do in the meantime.
I used World throughout third year and had finished it back in March with I think an average of 61%. I had also taken some of the NBME's to gauge my progress through the year (I did poorly on Step1 and need to improve on Step2!).
Prior to studying, NBME 4 showed a 224.
2 weeks into studying I received a dismal 217 on USWA and a 248 on NBME 2 (same day)
This is my third official week studying. I've been going back through World, averaging 73% overall on this second run-through (I reset the software). I have about 40% of the question bank left. I've gone through FA as well as Case Files for my weakest subjects (Psych and ObGyn) according to NBME 4.
What should I do with the final week? Should I try to get through the rest of World a second time, focus on rereading FA, do a combination? I guess I would feel better if I hadn't have had such an inconsistent UWSA score a few days ago and if I wasn't making up for my below average Step1 score.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the long neurotic post! 😕
