Hey guys, I could really use some help and advice right now. So I have interviewed at NYCPM, Temple, CSPM, and Western. I've been accepted to NYCPM with a 10k scholarship, and CSPM (money will depend on my pending mcat score). I just interviewed at Western today and liked the program, but I also definitely like what Temple has to offer. I haven't heard back from Temple yet. I need to let CSPM know by the 23rd, so I have to make a decision pretty soon, but am pretty torn between all of the programs, as there seems to be pros and cons to each! Also I am a Cali resident. What do you guys think? Where would you go? Thanks for the help =)

Many of us have been in your situation and I sympathize with what you are going through.. however strangers on the internet can not make these decisions for you. You need to figure out which school works best for you and not what SDN "whoevers" say will work the best for you.

Go with your gut feeling. Write down all the pros and cons of each school and ask yourself what are you looking for in a school and slowly eliminate which schools that don't fit that criteria. Don't forget to consider the city or are where you want to live in. To me, that was a big factor.

You could always ask CSPM for an extension. They know you are interviewing at other schools. I did and I was given one. just ask andre or dr. tran.. they are both real nice dudes

That is surprising, they usually want everything in before they'll commit. Are you retaking it for some reason?

Regardless, what is your deposit to hold your spots? It sounds as though Temple is your first choice but you don't want to lose the CSPM spot. Perhaps it would be best to hold off your choice by paying. It depends on how much peace of mind is worth (and if you have the money).

I do have to agree with dyk343 though. This is a decision you need to come to on your own. If you have specific questions, we can help, but only you can decide what is best for you. I grew up in California, I'm now at NYCPM, that was the best choice for ME. Find your fit, they're all good schools.

Oh, and if you aren't going to NYCPM, let them know so they can offer the spot and the money to someone else.

oh yeah, definitely, I want to figure it out as quickly as possibly, so as to allow for the spot to become open to others. I actually received my scholarship from NYCPM based on my DAT score. I took the MCAT as well in April to give myself the opportunity to apply to all of the pod schools that I was interested in. Thank you all so much for your input, it really means a lot, but I definitely feel as if I like each program for different reasons :/ I know what you mean though, I'm in the process of making a really long pros and cons list =) Thanks guys!! P.S. I got my acceptance phone call from Temple today as well! 😀

I got an extension from CSPM, but after much speculation and pretty lengthy pros and cons lists, I'm 99% positive I'm going to Temple!! 😀 😀 cant wait!!
