I need to make a good impression at my away GI elective... suggestions for a pocket book to read and something to read at home? thanks.

It's the one I plan on buying for my GI elective next month. As for home reading I'm not really sure.

If you want a quick, concise, yet very informative read, check out the Washington Manual for GI. Its probably about 100pgs or so, but very well laid out by symptoms. Gives you the basic dx, sx, and tx for each. Good luck!

i think blueprints is coming out with a book for gi in november
