You will do WHATEVER it takes to get in, then wink

Make him an offer he can't refuse.

Tell him things that you've done since your application as well as tell him how much you really want to go there because of ____, _____, and _____. Fill in the blanks with research you're interested in, classes that look neat (and why they look neat), and student support/activities that look neat (and why they look neat).

Thank him profusely for the interview chance and let him know why you'd be a great addition to the class.

basically the same any any other interview turned up a notch.

and remember to shake his hands with a $100 bill in yours😉

Focus on things that you have done since submitting the application...try not to list them but just talk about them in an informal manner but cover all aspects of it.

He is probably gonna give you a few mins and it is important to show that you are an interesting, likable (cool) person, who can hold conversation.

Good Luck. The fact that you are getting some face time with the dean should give you an advantage.

Don't quote me but I would assume this is what you should not say.....

"$%^$ you blooming ^&%%&, what's taking you so long!"

Keep away from that and you should be fine.

I would recommend focusing on why you want to go to that school. Make a case for why you and the school are a good match for each other: what features you love about the school and why you belong there (curriculum, location, EC opportunities, etc.)

Most schools would rather give a spot to a waitlistee that really wants to be there then someone who hasn't shown interest. Meeting with the Dean shows interest, so now you just need to follow up on that in person.

I hope the meeting goes well for you. 🙂
