Next week I'm going to check out a GPR program in a VA hospital. It's not an interview; I called to say I was interested in the program, they said I could come check it out. What do I wear?

I don't think a suit is necessary because it's not an interview. Is that right? Instead: dress shirt with tie? Sport coat? Dress shirt no tie?

THANKS

Dress for success. A Shirt and tie will be fine. If you dressed in a suit it won't hurt you, but a nice dress shirt and tie will work fine. Just look nice, it says a lot about you. Remember people judge you on your looks, its just a fact. Good luck!

I called the program I visited before coming to ask what would be appropriate and I was told that I should wear scrubs for my externship/GPR visit. When you call to confirm your visit, ask the coordinator of the program what s/he thinks is appropriate to wear for the visit.
