This is a quick question but what do you typically wear to a tour of a medical school? Should I dress up a little or just go casually?

Like...
Interview level fancy... suit and tie?
or
Medium Fancy... button up shirt with dress pants?
or
Casual... Jeans and a reasonable shirt?

Are you touring as an interviewee or is this just a tour open to the general public? If as an interviewee, you should dress business casual unless told otherwise. If it's a tour open to the public or any students, casual will be fine.

My schools pre-med club does a lot of touring. They are private tours in the sense that its just for students/members and they tell us your "medium fancy". Just button up shirt and kakis kind of thing. But no suit and tie.

Just a tour that is open to the public. It was something I had set up a while back and hope to get an interview down the line. I had just been interested and wanted to see the campus and have had this setup for a while now.

You're going to get weird looks if you show up in interview attire. If it's a public tour, go business casual and nothing more.

That's what I thought but I just wanted to make sure haha.

It's always better to be over dressed than under dressed.
Business casual definitely

Don't most schools do tours on the same day as interviews though? Why would you be expected to show up in anything other than interview attire?
