What to write in a thank you letter to a DO?

I was wondering what should I do for the people who wrote me rec letters? I have one Dr. that wrote me one and on that just signed the letter I wrote. I dont know what I should for them. Should I just write them a thank you letter, or should I send them something?

Any help would be great.

You can just send them thank you notes. That's what I did.
